| Digestive function assessment |
| |
| How It Works |
The digestive system includes the stomach, small intestines, large bowel (colon), liver, gall bladder and pancreas. A properly functioning digestive system is essential for health and the prevention of disease. Practitioners at YourHealth will ask you questions about your digestive function, with interest in appetite, food intolerances, bloating, nausea, abdominal pain and wind, constipation and diarrhoea. If your symptoms or health concern indicates a need to properly assess your digestive function you may be asked to do one the following tests: CDSA (Comprehensive Digestive Stool Analysis), Intestinal permeability testing, Stool parasitology and/or Helicobacter pylori antigen, Functional Liver Detoxification Profile. Your practitioner will determine the best assessment for you and your health concerns and will give you more detailed information than can be given in here. |
