| Standard Definition |
 |
Cancer is a chronic condition that typically takes several years to develop and become detectable. The process of carcinogenesis is influenced by many nutritional and lifestyle factors and stressors both physical and emotional. Whilst we may inherit an increased risk of a particular cancer, it has been determined that the majority of these genes require environmental triggers or contributors. Scientists attribute diet and lifestyle factors to more than 75% of all cancers. |
