Isabel specialises in Women's Health, Mental and Neurological Health with a preventative medicine approach.
Isabel is originally from Brazil, where she completed her first degree in Social Communication (Photojournalism). In Australia, Isabel studied at Nature Care College for over 6 years, graduating in Shiatsu Therapy and Nutrition. She holds a Bachelor degree in Health Sciences (UTS) and a Master degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (UWS).
Isabel has also spent time in China in two hospitals furthering her clinical studies in Gynaecology, Dermatology and Neurology.
Isabel's main areas of interest are in Stress and Stress Related Disorders, Insomnia, Anxiety and Depression, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Neuralgias and Headaches, Gynaecology, Muscle and Joint Pain, Chronic and Acute Infections, and Skin Conditions.
Isabel practices daily meditation and incorporates some simple meditation techniques into her work as an acupuncturist, drawing from the richness of Chinese Medicine theories and Chinese philosophies such as Taoism and the I Ching. |
